Behind the frightening and very sad news about the situation in Ukraine, we still wanted to share with you information that is very important to us, which brought us a lot of joy just before the outbreak of this terrible conflict:
ENGEL and TMA have been working closely together for many years, providing customers with comprehensive solutions for the automation of plastic injection processes. From 25.01.2022 ENGEL becomes the majority shareholder of TMA AUTOMATION and together with the current shareholders: Marek Łangowski and Piotr Orlikowski will be involved in the joint development of the company. TMA remains and will continue to grow as an independent brand as it has been until now. Thanks to the ENGEL Group, TMA will gain worldwide access to customers looking for TMA AUTOMATION solutions, including IML robots and the entire range of the so-called "Downstream automation", i.e. production automation after the injection process, including take-out and inserting robots, visual quality control systems, stacking, packaging robots, palletizing systems as well as robotization of intralogistics based on AGV / AMV robots.
One of ENGEL’s strategic focuses is Poland and the neighboring eastern European countries. "TMA's technologies perfectly complement ENGEL's in-house spectrum of robots and automation components", as Walter Aumayr, Vice President Automation and Peripheral Units of the ENGEL Group confirms. In cooperation with the strategic investor, ENGEL, TMA AUTOMATION can push forward with its growth targets. A site has already been purchased in Gdansk in order to start building a new office and production facility in the near future. "As a location, Gdansk, with its good infrastructure and large number of technical universities in the surrounding area, is the ideal starting position for excellent access to a qualified expert workforce", says Aumayr. "We will also be expanding the workforce at the new Gdansk facility".

TMA has already successfully implementation cases with this highly innovative and future solutionthat introduces up to 30% energy savings.

The two company founders, Marek Łangowski and Piotr Orlikowski together with ENGEL are staying as shareholders of TMA and They will continue to manage the company. Walter Aumayr reinforces the management team as a third managing director.
